01Who we are
INKFALL: Painted War (“the Game”) is developed and published by the INKFALL team (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the processing described on this page.

02What we collect
- Game progress, unlocks and settings — stored locally on your device. We do not host a copy unless you enable cloud save.
- Display name and player ID — the name you choose, or the one Google Play Games returns after you sign in.
- Purchase records — handled by Google Play Billing or Samsung In-App Purchase. We receive an order token and product ID; we never receive or store your card details.
- Advertising ID and ad interaction data — used by Google AdMob to serve, cap and measure rewarded and interstitial ads.
- Coarse technical data — app version, device model class, crash and performance signals. Aggregated, not used to identify you.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera data. The Game requests no such permissions.
03How and why we use it
To run the Game and honour purchases — performance of our contract with you.
To show advertising that funds development — your consent where the law requires it (EEA, UK, Switzerland), otherwise our legitimate interest in funding a free game.
To fix defects and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in keeping the Game working and fair.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
04Advertising and your consent
The Game shows rewarded video ads (opt-in, you receive an in-game reward) and interstitial ads between stages. Both are served by Google AdMob.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent dialog appears on first launch, powered by Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). It lists the purposes and the third-party ad partners involved. You may:
- Consent to personalised advertising, or
- Decline — you can still play everything, and ads become non-personalised, or
- Change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy inside the Game.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
05Third-party services
- Google AdMob — advertising. How Google uses data
- Google Play Billing — payments. Google Privacy Policy
- Google Play Games Services — optional sign-in and leaderboards.
- Samsung In-App Purchase — payments, Galaxy Store build only.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We choose partners that participate in Google’s consent framework and we do not enable personalised ads for users who declined.
06Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.
- Delete everything — Settings → Delete account & data, or simply uninstall the Game. Local progress is removed with the app.
- Withdraw ad consent — Settings → Ad Privacy.
- Everything else — email mybook1234567@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
07Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
08Retention and security
Retention. Local data stays until you delete it or uninstall. Purchase receipts are kept as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires. Ad interaction logs follow Google’s retention periods.
Security. Data in transit uses TLS. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced in the Game before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
